Because there is, one God, who justifieth the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision by the same faith.

But if Abraham was justified by works, he had [fn] glorying; yet not before God.

For what saith the scripture? That Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

As David also speaketh of the blessedness of the man, to whom God reckoneth righteousness without works,

and, Blessed is the man, to whom God will not reckon his sin.

as it is written: " I have constituted thee a father to a multitude of nations;" [fn] before God, in whom thou hast believed; who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which are not, as if they were.

And he did not hesitate at the promise of God, as one lacking faith; but he was strong in faith, and gave glory to God;

and felt assured, that what God had promised to him, he was able to fulfill.

Therefore, because we are justified by faith, we shall have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Messiah.

By whom we are brought by faith into this grace, in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is diffused in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit who is given to us.

God hath here manifested his love towards us. Because, if when we were sinners, Messiah died for us;

For if when we were enemies, God was reconciled with us by the death of his Son; how much more shall we, in his reconciliation, lived by his life?

And not only so, but we also rejoice in God, by means of our Lord Jesus Messiah, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

But not, as the fault, so also the free gift. For if, on account of the fault of one, many died; how much more, will the grace of God and his free gift, on account of one man, Jesus Messiah, abound unto many?

For in dying, he died for sin, once; and in living, he liveth unto God.

So also do ye account yourselves as being dead to sin, and alive to God, through our Lord Jesus Messiah.

And also give not up your members as instruments of evil unto sin, but give up yourselves to God, as those who have been resuscitated from the dead; and let your members be instruments for the righteousness of God.

But thanks be to God, that ye were [fn] the servants of sin but have [fn] from the heart obeyed that form of doctrine to which ye are devoted.

And now, as ye have been emancipated from sin, and have become servants to God, your fruits are holy; and the result thereof is life everlasting.
