For God so loued ye world, that he gaue his only begotten Sonne: that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life.

For God sent not his Sonne into the world to condemne the world: but that the world through him might be saued.

For euery one that doeth euill, hateth the light, neither commeth to the light, lest his deeds should be reproued.

But hee that doeth trueth, commeth to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

After these things, came Iesus and his disciples into the land of Iudea, and there hee taried with them, and baptized.

And what hee hath seene and heard, that he testifieth, and no man receiueth his testimony:

He that hath receiued his testimonie, hath set to his seale, that God is true.

The Father loueth the Sonne, and hath giuen al things into his hand.

(Though Iesus himselfe baptized not, but his disciples:)

Then commeth he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, neere to the parcell of ground that Iacob gaue to his sonne Ioseph.

Now Iacobs Well was there. Iesus therefore being wearied with his iourney, sate thus on the Well: and it was about the sixth houre.

For his disciples were gone away vnto the city to buy meate.

Art thou greater then our father Iacob, which gaue vs the Well, and dranke thereof himselfe, and his children, and his cattell?

And vpon this came his disciples, and marueiled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou, or, Why talkest thou with her?

In the meane while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eate.

Iesus saith vnto them, My meat is, to doe the will of him that sent mee, and to finish his worke.

And many moe beleeued, because of his owne word:

For Iesus himselfe testified, that a Prophet hath no honour in his owne countrey.

When he heard that Iesus was come out of Iudea into Galilee, hee went vnto him, and besought him that he would come downe, and heale his sonne: for he was at the point of death.

Iesus saith vnto him, Go thy way, thy sonne liueth. And the man beleeued the word that Iesus had spoken vnto him, and he went his way.
