So that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no one else,

The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating disaster; I am the LORD who does all these things.

For this is what the LORD says, He who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it as a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited): "I am the LORD, and there is no one else.

"Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.

"Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,

"Now, then, hear this, you luxuriant one, Who lives securely, Who says in her heart, 'I am, and there is no one besides me. I will not sit as a widow, Nor know the loss of children.'

"You felt secure in your wickedness and said, 'No one sees me,' Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have led you astray; For you have said in your heart, 'I am, and there is no one besides me.'

"Listen to Me, Jacob, Israel whom I called; I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.

This is what the LORD says, He who is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to benefit, Who leads you in the way you should go.

And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength),

"Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has fathered these for me, Since I have been bereaved of my children And cannot conceive, and I am an exile, and a wanderer? And who has raised these? Behold, I was left alone; Where are these from?'"

"Kings will be your guardians, And their princesses your nurses. They will bow down to you with their faces to the ground And lick the dust from your feet; And you will know that I am the LORD; Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame.

"I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; And humanity will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

For the Lord GOD helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have made My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.

"I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass,

"For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar (the LORD of armies is His name).

"Therefore, My people shall know My name; therefore on that day I am the one who is speaking, 'Here I am.'"

Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD say, "The LORD will certainly separate me from His people." Nor let the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree."

"Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry for help, and He will say, 'Here I am.' If you remove the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness,

"You will also suck the milk of nations, And suck the breast of kings; Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
