But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruit; afterward those of Christ at His coming.

For it is right for Him to reign until He puts all the hostile ones under His feet; Psa. 110:1

For "He subjected all things under His feet;" but when He says that all things have been subjected, it is plain that it excepts Him who has subjected all things to Him. Psa. 8:6

And concerning the brother Apollos, I much urged him that he come to you with the brothers, but it was not altogether his will that he come now. But he will come when he has opportunity.

so that we should not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his devices.

But if the ministry of death having been engraved in letters in stone was with glory, so as that the sons of Israel could not gaze into "the face of Moses" because of the glory of his face, which was to cease, Ex. 34:34

And not as "Moses, who put a veil over his face," for the sons of Israel not to gaze at the end of the thing being done away. Ex. 34:35

And not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted over you, relating to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal on my behalf, so as for me to rejoice more.

For this reason we have been comforted over your comfort, and we rather rejoice more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

And his tender feelings are abundant toward you, remembering the obedience of all of you, as you received him with fear and trembling.

For truly he received the entreating, but being more earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.

Each one as he purposes in his heart, not out of grief or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. Prov. 22:8

even as it has been written, "He scattered, he gave to the poor, his righteousness abides forever." Psa. 112:9

But thanks be to God for His unspeakable free gift.

Because, they say, the letters are weighty and strong, but the bodily presence is weak, and his speech being despised.

But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ.

It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

But when God was pleased, He having separated me from my mother's belly, and having called me through His grace, Isa. 49:1

to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,
