Therefore, putting off the false, "speak truth each with his neighbor," because we are members of one another. Zech. 8:16

So, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies, (he loving his wife loves himself),

for then no one hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as also the Lord the assembly.

For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

"For this, a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh." Gen. 2:24

However, you also, everyone, let each one love his wife as himself, and the wife, that she give deference to the husband.

For the rest, my brothers, be made powerful in the Lord and in the might of His strength.

because it was granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,

for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

because that through the work of Christ he drew near as far as to death, his life having been exposed, that he may fill up your lack of service toward me.

to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, having been conformed to His death,

who will transform our body of humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory, according to the working of Him to be able even to subject all things under Himself.
