For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears have they heard heavily and their eyes they have shut, lest perhaps they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and should be converted: and I should heal them.

For I long to see you that I may impart unto you some spiritual grace, to strengthen you:

But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my mind and captivating me in the law of sin that is in my members.

But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.

As it is written: God hath given them the spirit of insensibility; eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, until this present day.

Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see: and bow down their back always.

See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness. Otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

But as it is written: They to whom he was not spoken of shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

When I shall begin to take my journey into Spain, I hope that, as I pass, I shall see you and be brought on my way thither by you: if first, in part, I shall have enjoyed you.

For see your vocation, brethren, that there are not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble.

For if a man see him that hath knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not his conscience, being weak, be emboldened to eat those things which are sacrificed to idols?

We see now through a glass in a dark manner: but then face to face. Now I know in part: but then I shall know even as I am known.

Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ’s let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ’s, so are we also.

Then, after three years, I went to Jerusalem to see Peter: and I tarried with him fifteen days.

See what a letter I have written to you with my own hand.

And to enlighten all men, that they may see what is the dispensation of the mystery which hath been hidden from eternity in God who created all things:

See therefore, brethren, how you walk circumspectly: not as unwise,

Only let your conversation be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you, or, being absent, may hear of you, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind labouring together for the faith of the gospel.
