His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

And his feet were like the fine brass of Lebanon, as though they burned in a furnace; and his voice was as the sound of many waters.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shining in its strength.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

TO the angel * of the church of Eph''esus write: These things says the Omnipotent; who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

He who overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white robes; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and have sat down with my Father on his throne.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And behold, I saw a black horse; and he who sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before his throne on their faces, and worshipped God.

Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne shall shelter them.

And they had a king over them, who was the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is, A-bad''don, but in Greek his name is A-poll''yon.

AND I saw another mighty angel com ing down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and the rainbow of the cloud was upon his head, and his face was as though it were the sun, and his legs as pillars of fire:

And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the land,

And the angel which I saw standing upon the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven, and

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, as he has proclaimed to his servants, the prophets.

And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great sounds of thunders, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our LORD, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant; and there were lightnings, and thunderings, and voices, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, there was a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And his tail cut off a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, so as to devour her child as soon as it was born.
