The rest of them said, "Leave him be. Let's see if Elijah will come a ridin' down to get him!"

All of a sudden there was a violent earthquake. A winged rider from heaven had flown down and rolled the boulder out of the way so they could see inside.

But he ain't here! He has ridden back from the dead just like he said he would. Y'all come take a look and see that I ain't pullin' your leg.

When Jesus came up out of the water, the sky split plumb apart and you could see right into heaven. And out of heaven come the Spirit of God like a dove and it came right down to him.

People stood there with their mouths hanging wide open and they turned to each other and said, "Did you see that? This cowboy is teaching us something new. He not only knows what he's doing, but even the evil spirits jump when he says to."

Some people brought a paralyzed fellow to see him, but they couldn't even get in the house.

The bigwig preachers kept an eye on Jesus to see if he would heal the guy on the day of rest. They were always on the lookout for some way to talk bad about him.

so this old saying would come true, 'They look, but cannot see. They hear, but they cannot understand. If they could see and understand, they would turn to me and be forgiven.'"

"Isn't this that carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son? Aren't those his sisters who live near here?" Because of all their questions, they didn't hear him; because of their looking for answers elsewhere they couldn't see him; and they got offended that this ordinary fellow would stand up in front and dare to teach them.

Jesus could see his boys straining against the oars as they fought the tumbling sea. When the night was nearly over, he decided to go to Bethsaida and beat them there by walking across the sea as if it were a dry patch of ground. As he was passing them by,

Jesus smiled at that and said, "That's the kind of faith I'm looking for. You go check on your daughter and see that she has been freed from that scoundrel that's been controlling her."

Did any of you see what happened when I fed the five thousand with five loaves? How many baskets of leftovers did y'all pick up?""Twelve," they said.

"Do you still not see and get it?" Jesus asked.

He led the man outside the town, and after spitting in the guy's eyes, Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes and asked, "What do you see?"

The fellow said, "I see people, but they look like walking bushes."

Jesus kept on a talkin', "There are some cowboys who are right here who will not die before they see the awesome display of God's outfit."

"If your eye keeps looking at things it shouldn't, tear that sucker right out. It's better to ride for God's outfit with a patch over one eye than to see what hell is like with both.

In those days, people were always bringing their kids to see Jesus so he could bless 'em. It happened so frequently that the cowboys started trying to keep people from doing it.

Jesus blessed every kid who ever came to see him.

Jesus said to him as he got close, "What do you want from me?"The fellow slid to a stop and said, "Please let me see again."
