What does this statement mean that he made,said">[fn] 'You will look for me but will not find me,' and 'Where I will be, you cannot come'?"

while others were saying, "This is the Christ!"[fn] But some were saying, "The Christ doesn't come from Galilee, does he?John 1:46; 4:42;">[xr]

Yet even if I should judge, my judgment would be valid,true">[fn] for it is not I alone who judges, but I and the one who sent me.John 8:29; 16:32;">[xr]

Later on he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will look for me, but you will die in your sins. You cannot come where I am going."John 7:34;">[xr]

He said to them, "You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, but I am not of this world.John 3:31; 15:19; 17:16; 1 John 4:5;">[xr]

But it is because I speak the truth that you do not believe me.

You don't know him, but I know him. If I were to say that I don't know him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know him and keep his word.John 7:28-29;">[xr]
