And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything that he has given me, but should raise it to life on the last day.John 10:28; 17:12; 18:9;">[xr]

But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, "Does this offend you?

The one who speaks on his own seeks his own praise. But the one who seeks the praise of him who sent him is true, and there is nothing false in him.John 5:41; 8:50;">[xr]

Moses gave you circumcision - not that it is from Moses, but from the Patriarchs - and so you circumcise a man on the Sabbath.Genesis 17:10; Leviticus 12:3;">[xr]
