It came about when Moses was coming down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the testimony were in Moses' hand as he was coming down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with Him.

So when Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.

the sons of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone. So Moses would replace the veil over his face until he went in to speak with Him.

Every man, who had in his possession blue and purple and scarlet material and fine linen and goats' hair and rams' skins dyed red and porpoise skins, brought them.

Everyone who could make a contribution of silver and bronze brought the LORD'S contribution; and every man who had in his possession acacia wood for any work of the service brought it.

"He also has put in his heart to teach, both he and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,

"Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

"You shall bring his sons and put tunics on them;

From it Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet.

'If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.

'He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.

'But if his offering is from the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer it a male without defect.

'But if his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the turtledoves or from young pigeons.

'Now when anyone presents a grain offering as an offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.

'He shall then bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy, of the offerings to the LORD by fire.
