And he said, The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.

And Festus says, King Agrippa, and all men who are here present with us, you see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews made suit to me, both at Jerusalem and here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.

For this cause therefore I entreated you to see and to speak with [me]: for because of the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

saying, "Go to this people, and say, By hearing you shall hear, and shall in no way understand; And seeing you shall see, and shall in no way perceive:

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established;

but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and capturing me in the law of sin which is in my members.

But if we hope for that which we don't see, [then] we wait for it with patience.

according to as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.

Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, And bow down their back always.

See then the goodness and severity of God: toward those that fell, severity; but toward you, God's goodness, if you continue in his goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.

but, according to as it is written, To whom no tidings of him came, they shall see. And they who have not heard shall understand.

whenever I go to Spain (for I hope to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way to there by you, if first in some measure I shall have been satisfied with your company)-

For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know fully even as also I was fully known.

But as you abound in everything, [in] faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and [in] all earnestness, and [in] our love to you, [see] that you abound in this grace also.

and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages has been hid in God who created all things;

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;
