Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

whom having not seen [fn] you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, [fn] "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: [fn] to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; [fn] for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; [fn] and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see."

When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come and see." [fn]

When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see."

But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.

Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow [fn] their dead bodies to be put into graves.

"Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."

The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. [fn]

In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, "I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.'
