The chief priests of the Jews therefore said to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

Simon Peter says to them, I am going fishing. They say to him, We will also come with you. They went forth, and entered into the boat; and that night they took nothing.

And Peter went down to the men, and said, Look, I am he whom you seek: what is the cause why you have come?

But Peter raised him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

And as John was fulfilling his course, he said, What do you suppose that I am? I am not [he]. But look, there comes one after me the shoes of whose feet I am not worthy to unloose.

And when they opposed themselves and blasphemed, he shook out his raiment and said to them, Your blood [be] on your own heads; I am clean: from now on I will go to the Gentiles.

for I am with you, and no man shall set on you to harm you: for I have many people in this city.

but if they are questions about words and names and your own law, look to it yourselves; I am not minded to be a judge of these matters.

And the evil spirit answered and said to them, Jesus I know, and Paul I am aware of, but who are you?

Therefore I testify to you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Then Paul answered, What do you do, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

But Paul said, I am a Jewish man, of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and I urge you, give me leave to speak to the people.

I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, instructed at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God even as you all are this day:

And I answered, Who are you, Lord? And he said to me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you persecute.

And the colonel answered, With a great sum I obtained this citizenship. And Paul said, But I am [a Roman] born.

But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the Sanhedrin, Men, brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees: concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

except it is for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am called in question before you this day.
