And He said to them, Going, say to that fox, Behold, today and tomorrow I cast out demons and I complete cures, and the third day I am being perfected.

But coming to himself he said, How many servants of my father have plenty of loaves, and I am perishing with famine.

and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.

And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against Heaven and before you, and no longer am I worthy to be called your son.

And the steward said within himself, What shall I do, for my lord is taking away the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.

I know what I will do, that when I am removed from the stewardship, they will receive me into their houses.

And calling he said, Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering in this flame.
