It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!Luke 12:5;">[xr]

By faith Enoch was taken away without experiencing death. He could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he won approval as one who pleased God.Genesis 5:22,24;">[xr]

Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.

He was certain that God could raise people from the dead, and figuratively speaking he did get him back in this way.Romans 4:17,19, 21;">[xr]

What you endure is for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as sons. Is there a son whom his father does not discipline?Deuteronomy 8:5; 2 Samuel 7:14; Proverbs 13:24; 19:18; 23:13;">[xr]

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and worship God in reverence and fear in a way that pleases him.
