Therefore thus says the LORD God: Because you have forgotten me and cast me off behind your idols, therefore you also shall bear your lewdness and your whoredoms.

Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold. I will bring a sword upon you and destroy from you man and beast.

Therefore I am against you and against your river, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate from the tower of Sona even to the border of Ethiopia.

I have therefore delivered it into the hand of the mighty one of the nations; he shall surely deal with it according to its sin; and he shall destroy it.
