He makes the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.

Then they are glad because they are quiet; So he brings them to their desired haven.

He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; And he does not allow their cattle to decrease.

GIMEL Deal bountifully with your slave, that I may live; So I will observe your word.

Make me to understand the way of your precepts: So I shall meditate on your wondrous works.

So I shall have an answer for him that reproaches me; For I trust in your word.

So I shall observe your law continually Forever and ever.

Quicken me after your loving-kindness; So I shall observe the testimony of your mouth.

Redeem me from the oppression of man: So I will observe your precepts.

Look, as the eyes of male slaves [look] to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a female slave to the hand of her mistress; So our eyes [look] to Yahweh our God, Until he has mercy on us.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Yahweh is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore.

As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, So are the sons of youth.

He has not dealt so with any nation; And as for his ordinances, they have not known them. Praise you Yah.

So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; It takes away the life of the owners thereof.

So as to incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;

So you shall find favor and good understanding In the sight of God and man.

So your barns shall be filled with corn, And your vats shall overflow with new wine.

So they shall be life to your soul, And grace to your neck.

So shall your poverty come as a robber, And your want as an armed man.

So he that goes in to his neighbor's wife; Whoever touches her shall not be unpunished.
