"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he cries to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.

And he said, "Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been created in all the earth or in any nation. And all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord , for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons' due, from the Lord 's food offerings, for so I am commanded.

For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground.

For I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy."

"Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, I am the Lord your God.

You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived, and you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you. You shall not walk in their statutes.

You shall follow my rules and keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the Lord your God.

You shall therefore keep my statutes and my rules; if a person does them, he shall live by them: I am the Lord .

"None of you shall approach any one of his close relatives to uncover nakedness. I am the Lord .

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord .

"Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean,

So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God."

"Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves any gods of cast metal: I am the Lord your God.

And you shall not strip your vineyard bare, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.
