Later on he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will look for me, but you will die in your sins. You cannot come where I am going."John 7:34;">[xr]

He said to them, "You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, but I am not of this world.John 3:31; 15:19; 17:16; 1 John 4:5;">[xr]

That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins."Mark 16:16; John 8:21;">[xr]

So Jesus told them, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority. Instead, I speak only what the Father has taught me.John 3:11,14; 12:32; Romans 1:4;">[xr]

Jesus told them, "If God were your Father, you would have loved me, because I came from God and am here. For I have not come on my own accord, but he sent me.John 5:43; 7:28-29; 16:27; 1 John 5:1;">[xr]

Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?

Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly I tell you, before there was an Abraham, I am!"Exodus 3:14; Isaiah 43:13; John 17:5,24; Colossians 1:17; Revelation 1:8;">[xr]

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."John 1:5,9; 3:19; 8:12;">[xr]

So again Jesus said, "Truly, truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.

I am the gate. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.John 14:6; Ephesians 2:18;">[xr]

how can you say to the one whom the Father has consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?Luke 1:35; John 3:17; 6:27; 8:42;">[xr]

If I am not doing my Father's works, do not believe me.John 15:24;">[xr]

But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and understandbelieve">[fn] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."John 5:36; 14:10-11; 17:21;">[xr]

For your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let's go to him."
