I have made the earth, and man and beast that are on the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it to whom it seems right to me.

Look, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof you say, It is desolate, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

Thus says Yahweh: Yet again there shall be heard in this place, whereof you say, It is waste, without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,

Thus says Yahweh of hosts: Yet again there shall be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, Thus says Yahweh: You have burned this roll, saying, Why have you written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from there man and beast?

For out of the north there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they have fled, they have gone, both man and beast.

and say, O Yahweh, you have spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate forever.

Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and beast;

Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and beast;

Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast;

For thus says the Lord Yahweh: How much more when I send my four intense judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil beasts, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.

Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Look, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off from you man and beast.

No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

and I will multiply on you man and beast; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better [to you] than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

And you, son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood.

The priests shall not eat of anything that dies of itself, or is torn, whether it is bird or beast.

And, look, another beast, a second, like a bear; and it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.

After this I looked, and saw another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
