and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that has the mark, [even] the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. He that has understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty-six.

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,

and the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, those that worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and those that come off victorious from the beast, and from his image, and from the number of his name, standing by the sea of glass, having harps of God.

And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore on the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshiped his image.

And the fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

And I saw [coming] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:

And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And the angel said to me, Why did you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes into perdition. And those that dwell on the earth shall wonder, [they] whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.

And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes into perdition.

And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet; but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.

These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these shall hate the prostitute, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her completely with fire.

For God put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and has become a dwelling place of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean bird, and and a hold of every unclean and hateful beast.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that did the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast and those that worshiped his image: both of them were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone:

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them: and [I saw] the souls of those that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as did not worship the beast, neither his image, and did not receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
