I bowed down at his feet to worship him, but he told me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold on to the testimony of Jesus. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many royal crowns. He has a name written on him that nobody knows except himself.Revelation 1:14; 2:16-18; 6:2;">[xr]

He is dressed in a robe dipped insprinkled with">[fn] blood, and his name is called the Word of God.Isaiah 63:2-3; John 1:1; 1 John 5:7;">[xr]

A sharp sword comes out of his mouth to strike down the nations. He will ruleshepherd">[fn] them with an iron rod and tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.Psalm 2:1-12; Isaiah 11:4; 63:3; 2 Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 19:16,27; 2:27; 12:5; 14:19-20;">[xr]

On his robe and his thigh he has a name written:Daniel 2:47; 1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14; 19:12;">[xr] King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Then I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.Revelation 16:16; 17:13-14;">[xr]

The rest were killed by the sword that belonged to the rider on the horse and that came from his mouth. And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.Revelation 17:16;">[xr]

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key to the bottomless pit and a large chain in his hand.Revelation 1:18; 9:1;">[xr]

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be freed from his prison.Revelation 20:2;">[xr]

Then I saw a large, white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.Daniel 2:35; 2 Peter 3:7,10-11; Revelation 21:1;">[xr]

I heard a loud voice from the throne say, "See, the tabernacle of God is among humans! He will make his home with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God.and he will be their God">[fn]Leviticus 26:11-12; Ezekiel 43:7; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Revelation 7:15;">[xr]

The person who conquers will inherit these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.Zechariah 8:8; Hebrews 8:10;">[xr]

The city was square: its length was the same as its width. He measured the city with his rod, and it was 12,000 stadia long.[fn] Its length, width, and height were the same.

There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and the lamb will be in the city.in it">[fn] His servants will worship himEzekiel 48:35; Zechariah 14:11;">[xr]

and see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Matthew 5:8; 1 Corinthians 13:12; 1 John 3:2; Revelation 3:12; 14:1;">[xr]

He said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord God of the spirits and of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon."Revelation 1:1; 19:9; 21:5;">[xr]

"See! I am coming soon! My reward is with me to repay everyone according to his work.Isaiah 40:10; 62:11; Romans 2:6; 14:12; Revelation 20:12; 22:7;">[xr]

How blessed are those who wash their robeswho do his commandments">[fn] so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city!Daniel 12:12; 1 John 3:24; Revelation 2:7; 3:2; 21:27;">[xr]

If anyone takes away any words from the book of this prophecy, God will take away his portion of the tree of life and the holy city that are described in this book.Exodus 32:33; Psalm 69:28; Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 21:2;">[xr]
