No one hath ever seen God; but if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

And by this we know, that we abide in him and that he abideth in us, because he hath given of his Spirit to us.

And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent his Son, a Redeemer for the world.

And hereby is his love perfected with us; that we may have open countenances in the day of judgment; because as he was, so also are we in this world.

And if any one shall say, I love God, and yet hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother who is visible, how can he love God who is invisible?

And this command we have received from him, that whoever loveth God, must love also his brother.

And by this we know, that we love the children of God, when we love God, and follow his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.

If we receive the testimony of men, how much greater is the testimony of God? And this is the testimony of God, which he hath testified concerning his Son.

Whoever believeth in the Son of God, hath this testimony in himself. And whoever believeth not God, hath made him a liar, by not believing the testimony which God hath testified concerning his Son.

And this is the testimony, that God hath given to us life eternal, and this life is in his Son.

And this is the confidence that we have towards him, that whatever we ask of him, agreeably to his will, he heareth us.

16 If any one shall see his brother sin a sin which doth not deserve death, he shall ask, and life will be given him, to them [fn] who sin not as unto death. For there is a sin of death; and I do not say of this, that a man should pray for it.

And we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given us knowledge that we might know the True One; and that we might be in the True One, in his Son Jesus the Messiah. He is the true God, and the life eternal.

Every one who transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of the Messiah, God is not in him. And he who abideth in his doctrine, he hath the Father and the Son.

for he that saith to him, Joy to thee, is a participator in his evil deeds.

For they went forth in behalf of his name, taking nothing of the Gentiles.

10 Therefore, if he come, remember those his doings, that he treated us with malignant words; and this not sufficing him, he received not the brethren; and those who would receive [fn] , he prohibited, and even ejected them from the church.

And of them also prophesied Enoch, who was the seventh from Adam, when he said: Behold, the Lord cometh, with myriads of his saints;

25 before his majesty, with joy, [fn] the only God, our Deliverer, by means of Jesus the Messiah our Lord, be praise, and dominion, and honor, and majesty, both now and in all ages. Amen.
