And I knelt and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the right way to the house of my masters brother to take my masters brothers daughter to his son.

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well of Khaya-khezan (The Well of The Living One who saw me).

And the LORD appeared to him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham your father; fear not, for I am with you, and I will bless you, and multiply your descendants for my servant Abrahams sake.

And Isaac said to his son, How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD your God brought it my way.

Therefore may God give you of the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth, and the abundance of wheat and wine;

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a multitude of peoples;

And give the blessings of Abraham to you and to your descendants with you, that you may inherit the land in which you dwell, which God gave to Abraham.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder was set upon the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac; the land whereon you are lying, I will give to you and to your descendants;

And Jacob was exceedingly fearful, and he said, How sacred is this place today! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Then Jacob called the name of that place Beth-el (the house of God); but at the first the name of that place was called Luz.

And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me and will protect me in this way that I go, and will give me food to eat and clothing to wear

So that I may return to my fathers house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God;

And Jacobs anger was kindled against Rachel; and he said to her, Am I in the place of God, that I have prevented you from having a child?

And Rachel said, God has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son; therefore she called his name Dan.

And God hearkened to Leah, and she conceived, and bore Jacob the fifth son.

And Leah said, God has rewarded me, because I have given my maid to my husband; so she called his name Issachar.

And Leah said, God has enriched me exceedingly; now my husband will surely have more affection for me, because I have borne him six sons; so she called his name Zebulun.

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her and opened her womb.

And she conceived, and bore a son; and said, God has taken away my reproach;
