A priest may not come near a dead person so that he becomes defiled. However, he may defile himself for a father, a mother, a son, a daughter, a brother, or an unmarried sister.

The Chaldeans answered the king, "No one on earth can make known what the king requests. Consequently, no king, however great and powerful, has ever asked anything like this of any diviner-priest, medium, or Chaldean.

However, I have heard about you that you can give interpretations and solve problems. Therefore, if you can read this inscription and give me its interpretation, you will be clothed in purple, have a gold chain around your neck, and have the third highest position in the kingdom."

Then Daniel answered the king, "You may keep your gifts, and give your rewards to someone else; however, I will read the inscription for the king and make the interpretation known to him.

No one has the courage to support me against them except Michael, your prince. However, I will tell you what is recorded in the book of truth.

Look, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. However, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob— this is the Lord 's declaration—

The chief priests and the elders, however, persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to execute Jesus.

And He did not speak to them without a parable. Privately, however, He would explain everything to His own disciples.

They, however, were filled with rage and started discussing with one another what they might do to Jesus.

However, don't rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Jesus, however, invited them: "Let the little children come to Me, and don't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. When he stooped to look in, he saw only the linen cloths. So he went home, amazed at what had happened.

Jesus, however, would not entrust Himself to them, since He knew them all

However, many from the crowd believed in Him and said, "When the Messiah comes, He won't perform more signs than this man has done, will He?"

Jesus, however, was speaking about his death, but they thought He was speaking about natural sleep.

His disciples did not understand these things at first. However, when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.
