In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not revolted against my God.

For thou wilt light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

For through thee I have pursued a band of robbers; and through my God have I leaped over a fence.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is pure: he is a help to all those that trust in him.

For there is no God save the LORD; and there is no one who is mighty like our God.

It is God that girds me with strength and makes my way perfect.

The LORD lives; blessed be the one who gives me strength; let my God and my Saviour be exalted.

It is God that avenges me and subdues the people under me.

THE heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.

MAY the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

We will be glorified in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will be exalted; the LORD fulfil all your petitions.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will prevail through the name of the LORD our God.

MY God, my God, why hast thou let me to live? and yet thou hast delayed my salvation from me, because of the words of my folly.

O my God, I call thee in the daytime but thou answerest me not; and in the night season thou abidest not with me.

I was put under thy care from the womb; thou art my God from my mothers belly.

But, O LORD, be not thou far from me; O God, O God, abide to help me.

He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from God our Saviour.

This is the generation of them that seek thy face, that proclaim thy countenance, O thou God of Jacob.

O my God, I trust in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
