I have restrained my feet from every evil way, so that I may heed your word.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to Yahweh our God, until he is gracious to us.

As mountains are round about Jerusalem, so Yahweh is round about his people, from now until forever.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth.

so that passersby do not say, "The blessing of Yahweh be upon you. We bless you in the name of Yahweh."

But with you is forgiveness, so that you may be feared."

If only you would kill the wicked, O God— so get away from me, you bloodthirsty men—

As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

And so my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is desolate.

O Yahweh, bow the heavens and come down; touch the mountains so that they smoke.

He has not done so for any nation, and they do not know his ordinances. Praise Yah.

So that you will walk on the road of those who are good, and the paths of those who are righteous you shall keep.

So I have come out to meet you, to seek your face, and I have found you.

From his ways, the perverse of heart will be satisfied, and from his own, so shall a good man.

The lips of the wise will spread knowledge, but the heart of fools, not so.

He who winks his eyes does so in order to plan perverse things; he who purses his lips will bring evil to pass.

Listen to advice and accept instruction so that you will gain wisdom for your future.

For, like hair in his throat, so it is. "Eat and drink!" he will say to you, but his heart will not be with you.

Do not say, "Just as he has done to me, so shall I do to him; I will pay back the man according to his deed."

As heaven is to height and the earth is to depth, so is the heart of kings—there is no searching.
