May he vindicate the afflicted among the people; may he save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.

If I had said, "I will speak this way," then I would have betrayed Your children.

We will not hide them from their children, but will declare to the next generation the praises of the LORD and His might, and the wonders He has performed.

For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children,

that the coming generation would know them-even children yet to be born-to arise and tell their own children,

May Your work be shown to Your servants, and Your splendor to their children.

The children of Your servants will dwell securely, and their descendants will be established before You."

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.

But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children's children-

May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.

May his children wander as beggars, seeking sustenance far from their ruined homes.

May there be none to extend kindness, and no one to favor his fatherless children.

He settles the barren woman in her home, as a joyful mother to her children. Hallelujah!

May the LORD give you increase, both you and your children.

Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is His reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are children born in one's youth.

that you may see your children's children! Peace be upon Israel.

For He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses the children within you.

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King.

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is passed to the righteous.
