And they spoke against God. They said, "Is God able to prepare a table in the wilderness?

because they did not believe God, and they did not trust his salvation.

the anger of God rose against them, and he killed some of the stoutest of them, even the young men of Israel he caused to bow down in death.

When he killed some of them, then they sought him, and repented and earnestly sought God.

And they remembered that God was their rock, and God Most High their redeemer.

So they again tested God and distressed the Holy One of Israel.

But they tested and rebelled against God Most High and did not keep his statutes.

God heard and he was very angry and rejected Israel utterly.

A psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have entered your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have reduced Jerusalem to ruins.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; and deliver us and forgive our sins for the sake of your name.

Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?" Let it be known among the nations before our eyes, by the avenging of the blood of your servants that was poured out.

O God, restore us, and cause your face to shine that we may be saved.

O Yahweh God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

O God of hosts, restore us and cause your face to shine that we may be saved.

Please return, O God of hosts. Observe from heaven and see, and pay attention to this vine,
