Then Yahweh said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

As for Me, behold I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall breathe its last.

Then God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am giving to be between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations;

After these things the word of Yahweh came to Abram in a vision, saying,"Do not fear, Abram,I am a shield to you;Your reward shall be very great."

And He said to him, "I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it."

And he said, "Hagar, Sarai's servant-woman, where have you come from and where are you going?" And she said, "I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai."

Now it happened that when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him,"I am God Almighty;Walk before Me and be blameless,

And Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I am worn out, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?"

And Yahweh said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I indeed bear a son, when I am so old?'

Now Yahweh said, "Shall I conceal from Abraham what I am about to do,

And Abraham answered and said, "Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes.

Now it happened after these things, that God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."

Then Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?"

But the angel of Yahweh called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."

"I am a sojourner and a foreign resident among you; give me a possession for a burial site among you that I may bury my dead out of my sight."

Behold, I am standing by the spring of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water;

And she said to him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor."

So he said, "I am Abraham's servant.

behold, I am standing by the spring of water, and may it be that the maiden who comes out to draw, and to whom I say, "Please let me drink a little water from your jar";
