And God called ye drye londe, Earth: and the gatheringe together of waters called he, ye See. And God sawe yt it was good.

And God sayde: let vs make man in or similitude after oure licknesse, that he maye haue rule ouer the fysh of the see, and ouer the foules vnder ye heauen, and ouer catell, and ouer all the earth, and ouer all wormes that crepe on ye earth.

And God blessed them, and sayde vnto them: Growe, and multiplie, and fyll the earth, and subdue it, & haue domynion ouer the fish of the see, and ouer the foules of the ayre, and ouer all the beastes that crepe vpo the earth.

The feare also and drede of you be vpon all beastes of the earth, vpon all foules vnder the heauen, and vpon all that crepeth on the earth, and all fyshes of the see be geuen in to youre hades.

These came all together in to the brode valley, where now the salt see is:

I wyll prospere and multiplye thy sede as the starres of heauen, and as the sonde vpon the see shore. And thy sede shall possesse the gates of his enemies:

Thou saydest: I wyll do the good, and wyll make thy sede as the sonde of ye see, which can not be nombred for multitude.

So Ioseph layed vp the corne in stoare, and that moch aboue measure, as the sonde of the see: in so moch yt he left of nombrynge of it, for it coude not be nombred.

Zabulon shal dwell in the hauen of the see, and in the porte of shippes, and shal border vpon Sydon.

The the LORDE turned a maruelous stroge west wynde, and toke vp the greshoppers, & cast them in to the reed see, so that there was not one left in all the quarters of Egipte.

Therfore led he the people aboute, euen the waye thorow the wyldernes by ye reed see. And the childre of Israel wente harnessed out of the londe of Egipte.

Speake vnto the children of Israel, and byd them that they turne aboute, & pitch their tentes before the valley of Hyroth, betwixte Migdol & the see towarde Baal Zepho, and there pitch ye tentes right ouer by the see.

And the Egipcians folowed after the, & ouertoke them (where they had pitched by ye see) with horses and charettes, and horsme, and with his power, in the valley of Hyrath towarde Baal Zephon.

But lift thou vp yi staff, & stretch out thine hade ouer ye see, & parte it asunder, yt the children of Israel maye go in thorow ye middest of it vpon the drye grounde.

Wha Moses now stretched forth his hade ouer ye see, the LORDE caused it to passe awaye thorow a mightie eastwynde all that night, and made the see drye, and ye water deuyded it self a sunder.

And the children of Israel wente in thorow the middest of ye see vpon the drye grounde: and ye water was vnto them as a wall, vpon their right hande & vpo their lefte.

And ye Egipcias folowed, & wente in after the, all Pharaos horses, & charettes, & horsme, eue in to ye middest of ye see.

But ye LORDE saide vnto Moses: Stretch out thyne hande ouer the see, that ye water maye come agayne vpon the Egipcians, vpon their charettes, and horsmen.

Then Moses stretched out his hande ouer the see, and the see came agayne before daye in his course and strength, and the Egipcians fled agaynst it. Thus the LORDE ouerthrew them in the myddest of the see,

so that the water came agayne, and couered ye charettes and horsmen, and all Pharaos power which folowed after them in to the see, so that there remayned not one of them.
