As soon as he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister's wrists, and heard Rebekah's words, "The man said this to me," he went and found the man standing by the camels near the spring.

When Abraham's servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.

When Esau heard his father's words, he let out a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me too, O my father!"

When the words of her older son Esau were relayed to Rebekah, she sent for her younger son Jacob and told him, "Look, your brother Esau is consoling himself by plotting to kill you.

Send one of your number to get your brother; the rest of you will be confined so that the truth of your words may be tested. If they are untrue, then as surely as Pharaoh lives, you are spies!"

Then bring your youngest brother to me so that your words can be verified, that you may not die." And to this they consented.

When the steward overtook them, he relayed these words to them.

Now when we returned to your servant my father, we relayed your words to him.

You are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth. I will help both of you to speak, and I will teach you what to do.

And unto Me you shall be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you are to speak to the Israelites."

So Moses went back and summoned the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him.

And all the people answered together, "We will do everything that the LORD has spoken." So Moses brought their words back to the LORD.

The LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear when I speak with you, and they will always put their trust in you." And Moses relayed the words of the people to the LORD.

And God spoke all these words:

Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.

When Moses came and told the people all the words and ordinances of the LORD, they all responded with one voice: "All the words that the LORD has spoken, we will do."

And Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. Early the next morning he got up and built an altar at the base of the mountain, along with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

So Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, "This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words."

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Chisel out two stone tablets like the original ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

The LORD also said to Moses, "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."
