And God created the man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made.

And Yahweh God formed the man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living soul.

And Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof:

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

And they heard the voice of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.

and I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed: he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

And the man called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

And Yahweh God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them.

And Yahweh God said, Look, the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, so that he doesn't put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever-

And the man had sex with his wife Eve; and she became pregnant, and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with [the help of] Yahweh.

And again she bore his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

And Abel, he also brought of the firstborns of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Yahweh had respect to Abel and to his offering:

but to Cain and to his offering he did not have respect. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.

And Cain told Abel his brother. And it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

And Cain had sex with his wife; and she became pregnant, and gave birth to Enoch: and he built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and pipe.

And Lamech said to his wives: Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech: For I have slain a man for wounding me, And a young man for bruising me:
