And the Midianites sold him into Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, the captain of the guard.

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hand of the Ishmaelites, that had brought him down there.

And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were [with] the captain of the guard, broke down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

And the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive.

But the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.
