‘None of these men in this evil generation will see the good land I swore to give your fathers,

Job lived 140 years after this and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.

You, Lord , will guard us; You will protect us from this generation forever.

This will be written for a later generation, and a newly created people will praise the Lord :

"To what should I compare this generation? It's like children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to each other:

I assure you: All these things will come on this generation!
