Want deze daad der koningin zal uitkomen tot alle vrouwen, zodat zij haar mannen verachten zullen in haar ogen, als men zeggen zal: De koning Ahasveros zeide, dat men de koningin Vasthi voor zijn aangezicht brengen zou; maar zij kwam niet.
