So the Lord saved Israel that day. So the LORD saved Yisra'el that day: and the battle passed over by Beit-Aven. So the Lord saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over unto Bethaven. So on that day Yahweh delivered Israel, and the battle shifted to Beth Aven. So the Lord saved Israel that day. And the battle passed beyond Beth-aven. So the Lord saved the Israelites that day, and the battle moved on past Beth Aven. So the Lord delivered Israel that day, and the battle shifted over to Beth Aven. So the LORD saved Israel that day, and the battle spread beyond Beth-aven. So the LORD saved Israel that day, and the battle spread beyond Beth-aven. And so the Lord saued Israel that day: and the battell continued vnto Beth-auen. So Yahweh saved Israel that day, and the battle spread beyond Beth-aven. So the Lord helped Israel win the battle that day. Saul had earlier told his soldiers, "I want to get even with those Philistines by sunset. If any of you eat before then, you will be under a curse!" So he made them swear not to eat. By the time the fighting moved past Beth-Aven, the Israelite troops were weak from hunger. So Adonai saved Isra'el that day, and the battle spread as far as Beit-Aven. And Jehovah saved Israel that day; and the battle passed over beyond Beth-Aven. So the Lord saved the Israelites that day. The battle moved on past Beth Aven. The whole army was with Saul—he now had about 10,000 men. The battle spread to every city in the hill country of Ephraim. So the LORD saved Israel that day; then the men of Israel passed over to Beth-aon to battle. fighting all the way beyond Bethaven. The Lord saved Israel that day. And Jehovah saved Israel that day. So the Lord made Israel safe that day: and the fight went over to Beth-aven. And so the Lorde saued Israel that day: and the battel continued vnto Bethauen. So the LORD saved Israel that day; and the battle passed on as far as Beth-aven. So the Lord saued Israel that day: and the battell passed ouer vnto Beth-auen. And the battle extended itself to every city in the mount Ephraim. So the LORD saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over by Beth–aven. So the LORD saved Israel that day, and the battle moved on beyond Beth-aven. And the Lord sauyde Israel in that day. Sotheli the batel cam til to Bethauen. And Jehovah saveth Israel on that day, and the battle hath passed over to Beth-Aven. So Yahweh saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over by Beth-aven. So the LORD saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over to Beth-aven. So Yahweh saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over by Beth-aven. Gill's Notes on the Bible

So the Lord saved Israel that day, c] And a wonderful salvation it was, that two men should throw such a vast army into confusion, which issued in the utter rout and destruction of them this only could be of the Lord, to whom it is justly ascribed, and was the effect of his sovereign good will and pleasure, and of his unmerited goodness; a free favour bestowed on an undeserving prince, who had behaved ill to his prophet at Gilgal, and now to him and his high priest at Gibeah:

and the battle passed over unto Bethaven; the men of battle or war; those that made war, as the Targum, these pursued and went as far as Bethaven, or rather "passed Bethaven" q; they not only, went as far as that, but "from" it, as Ben Gersom and Abarbinel interpret it; they passed that place, and went on from thence in pursuit of the Philistines; for their camp at Michmash was eastward from this place, and had it on the east, 1 Samuel 13:5.

q עברה את בית און "transiit Bethaven", Montanus, Junius Tremellius, Piscator "vel, beliatores transierunt Bethaven", Pagninus, Vatablus, Drusius.
