This is what the Lord God says:
thus says the Lord GOD, "It shall not stand, neither shall it happen."
Thus saith the Lord God , It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
thus says the Lord God : "‘It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.
this is what the Lord GOD says: "It shall not stand nor shall it come to pass.
But I, the Lord God , say, "‘Their plan will not succeed; it will not happen,
for this is what the Lord GOD says, "It shall not stand nor shall it happen.
thus says the Lord Yahweh, "It shall not stand, neither shall it happen."
Thus sayth the Lorde God, It shall not stand, neither shall it be.
thus says Lord Yahweh: "It shall not stand, nor shall it happen.
But this is what the Lord GOD says: "It will not arise; it will not happen.
I, the Lord , promise that this will never happen.
"‘This is what Adonai Elohim says: "It won't occur, it won't happen.
thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall not stand, nor come to pass;
But the Lord God says, "Their plan will not succeed. It will not happen

"But I, the Lord , declare that this will never happen.
Thus says the Lord Yahweh, "It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.
So says the Lord Jehovah, It shall not rise, nor shall it happen.
For thus saieth the LORDE God ther to, It shall not so go forth, nether come so to passe:
thus saith the Lord Jehovah, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
This is the word of the Lord God: This design will not come about or be effected.

But this is what the Sovereign Lord says: "This invasion will never happen; it will never take place;
therefore thus says the Lord God : It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.
Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, - It shall not stand Neither shall it come to pass!
Thus saith the Lord God: It shall not stand, and this shall not be.
thus says the Lord GOD: It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.
Thus said the Lord Jehovah: It doth not stand, nor shall it be!
But God , the Master, says, "It won't happen. Nothing will come of it Because the capital of Aram is Damascus and the king of Damascus is a mere man, Rezin. As for Ephraim, in sixty-five years it will be rubble, nothing left of it. The capital of Ephraim is Samaria, and the king of Samaria is the mere son of Remaliah. If you don't take your stand in faith, you won't have a leg to stand on."

But I will make My agreement with you. You will go into the large boat, you and your sons and your wife, and your sons' wives with you.
Then the Lord said to Noah, "Go into the boat, you and all your family. For I have seen that you only are right and good at this time.
On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them, all went into the large boat.
They went into the large boat with Noah, two of every living thing.
A wise man sees sin and hides himself, but the foolish go on, and are punished for it.
In the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking. They were marrying and being given in marriage. This kept on until the day Noah went into the large boat.
People ate and drank. They married and were given in marriage. They did these things until the day Noah went into the large boat. Then the flood came and killed all the people on earth.
God gave these two things that cannot be changed and God cannot lie. We who have turned to Him can have great comfort knowing that He will do what He has promised.
Because Noah had faith, he built a large boat for his family. God told him what was going to happen. His faith made him hear God speak and he obeyed. His family was saved from death because he built the boat. In this way, Noah showed the world how sinful it was. Noah became right with God because of his faith in God.
Those were the spirits of the people who would not obey in the days of Noah. God waited a long time for them while Noah was building the big boat. But only eight people were saved from dying when the earth was covered with water.

Thus saith the Lord GOD, it shall not stand,.... That is, the counsel they had taken against Judah to vex it, make a breach in it, and set a king of their own liking over it; so the Septuagint and Arabic versions render the words, "that counsel shall not stand"; the counsel of God shall stand, but not the counsel of men, when it is against him, Proverbs 19:21:
neither shall it come to pass; or "shall not be"; so far from standing, succeeding, and going forward, till it is brought to a final accomplishment, it should not take footing, or have a being.
