Or la reine de Shéba, ayant appris la renommée de Salomon, vint à Jérusalem pour éprouver Salomon par des questions obscures. Elle avait un fort grand train, et des chameaux portant des aromates, de l'or en grande quantité et des pierres précieuses. Elle vint à Salomon, et elle lui dit tout ce qu'elle avait dans le cœur.
La reine de Séba apprit la renommée de Salomon, et elle vint à Jérusalem pour l'éprouver par des énigmes. Elle avait une suite fort nombreuse, et des chameaux portant des aromates, de l'or en grande quantité et des pierres précieuses. Elle se rendit auprès de Salomon, et elle lui dit tout ce qu'elle avait dans le coeur.
Or la reine de Séba ayant ouï parler de la renommée de Salomon, vint à Jérusalem, pour éprouver Salomon par des questions obscures, ayant un fort grand train, et des chameaux qui portaient des choses aromatiques, et une grande quantité d'or, et de pierres précieuses; et étant venue auprès de Salomon, elle lui parla de tout ce qu'elle avait en son cœur.

2 Chronicles 9:12
Beside that which she had brought unto the king - It is difficult to assign any sense to these words as they now stand in the Hebrew text. A slight alteration will give the meaning: “Beside that which the king had brought for her;” which is in conformity with 1 Kings 10:13.
