Tetapi demi TUHAN, Allah Israel yang hidup, yang mencegah aku dari pada berbuat jahat kepadamu--jika engkau tadinya tidak segera datang menemui aku, pasti tidak akan ada seorang laki-lakipun tinggal hidup pada Nabal sampai fajar menyingsing."
Karena sesungguh-sungguh Tuhan, Allah orang Israel, itu hidup, yang sudah menegahkan daku dari pada berbuat jahat akan dikau, jikalau kiranya tiada engkau sudah datang dengan segera mendapatkan aku, niscaya pada esok dini hari seorang yang laki-laki juapun tiada lagi tinggal pada Nabal.
