Dan korban-korban curahannya haruslah untuk seekor lembu jantan setengah hin anggur, untuk seekor domba jantan sepertiga hin dan untuk seekor domba seperempat hin. Itulah korban bakaran pada setiap bulan baru dalam setahun.
Maka akan persembahannya minuman hendaklah ini: separuh hin akan seekor lembu muda, dan sepertiga hin akan seekor domba jantan, dan seperempat hin air anggur akan seekor anak domba; ia itulah persembahan bakaran bulan baharu pada tiap-tiap bulan tahun itu.

Who can tell the dust of Iacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? I pray God that my soule may dye the death of the righteous, and that my last ende may be like his.

The New-moon offering is here also commanded for the first time. The goat as a sin-offering, though mentioned last, would seem in fact to have been offered first (compare the precedents in Exodus 29:0; Leviticus 5:0; Leviticus 8:0; Leviticus 9:0; Leviticus 14:0; Leviticus 16:0). The sin-offering, which Numbers 15:22-26 had been contemplated in cases where a sin had been committed ignorantly without the knowledge of the congregation, was henceforth not to be offered merely at discretion, as circumstances might seem to require, but to be regularly repeated, not less frequently than once a month.
