Introduction

1He foretells them of false teachers, shewing the impiety and punishment both of them and their followers;
7from which the godly shall be delivered, as Lot was out of Sodom;
10and more fully describes the manners of those profane and blasphemous seducers, whereby they may be the better known, and avoided.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
