וִיהֽוֹנָתָן֙

yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān

la·hă·mî·ṯe·ḵā;

לַהֲמִיתֶ֑ךָ

take heed to yourself

in the morning

wə·yā·šaḇ·tā

וְיָשַׁבְתָּ֥

And [place] and hide yourself

wə·naḥ·bê·ṯā.

וְנַחְבֵּֽאתָ׃

wə·‘ā·maḏ·tî

וְעָמַדְתִּ֣י

in the field

will commune

wə·hig·gaḏ·tî

וְהִגַּ֥דְתִּי

yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān

against his servant

בְּעַבְדּ֣וֹ

against David

[have been] to thee-ward very

For he did put

the Philistine

hap·pə·liš·tî,

הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗י

and did rejoice

וַתִּשְׂמָ֑ח

וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע

way·yil·lā·ḥem

וַיִּלָּ֣חֶם

bap·pə·liš·tîm,

בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים

slaughter them

with a great

ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh,

and they fled

way·yā·nu·sū

mə·ra·’ă·šō·ṯāw;

מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו

and covered [it]

with a cloth

וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח

and she said

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח

ham·mal·’ā·ḵîm,

הַמַּלְאָכִ֔ים

Bring him up

that I may slay

la·hă·mi·ṯōw.

וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙

מְרַאֲשֹׁתָֽיו׃

רִמִּיתִ֔נִי

wat·tə·šal·lə·ḥî

וַתְּשַׁלְּחִ֥י

that he is escaped

way·yim·mā·lêṭ;

וַיִּמָּלֵ֑ט

And answered

šal·lə·ḥi·nî

שַׁלְּחִ֖נִי

should I kill

way·yim·mā·lêṭ,

וַיִּמָּלֵ֗ט

hā·rā·mā·ṯāh,

way·yag·geḏ-

ū·šə·mū·’êl,

וּשְׁמוּאֵ֔ל

way·yê·šə·ḇū

וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ

(bə·nā·yō·wṯ.

(בְּנָֽיֹות׃

And it was told

(bə·nā·yō·wṯ

וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח

when they saw

of the prophets

han·nə·ḇî·’îm

הַנְּבִיאִים֙

וּשְׁמוּאֵ֕ל

[as] appointed

upon the messengers

of Saul them

and prophesied

way·yiṯ·nab·bə·’ū

וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ

when it was told

way·yag·gi·ḏū

וַיַּגִּ֣דוּ

וַיִּשְׁלַח֙

and prophesied

way·yiṯ·nab·bə·’ū

וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ

וַיִּשְׁלַח֙

the messengers

and prophesied

way·yiṯ·nab·bə·’ū

וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ

hā·rā·mā·ṯāh,

hag·gā·ḏō·wl

[is] in Sechu

and he asked

וַיִּשְׁאַ֣ל

(bə·nā·yō·wṯ

so that he went

and prophesied

way·yiṯ·nab·bê,

וַיִּתְנַבֵּ֔א

(bə·nā·yō·wṯ

and stripped off

way·yip̄·šaṭ

וַיִּפְשַׁ֨ט

and prophesied

way·yiṯ·nab·bê

וַיִּתְנַבֵּ֤א

in like manner

and lay down

hal·lā·yə·lāh;

among the prophets

ban·nə·ḇî·’im.
