Therefore you shall love

wə·’ā·haḇ·tā,

וְאָ֣הַבְתָּ֔

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā;

wə·šā·mar·tā

וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֣

miš·mar·tōw,

מִשְׁמַרְתּ֗וֹ

and his statutes

wə·ḥuq·qō·ṯāw

וְחֻקֹּתָ֧יו

and his judgments

ū·miš·pā·ṭāw

וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֛יו

and his commands

ū·miṣ·wō·ṯāw

וּמִצְוֹתָ֖יו

וִֽידַעְתֶּם֮

[I speak] your children

the chastisement

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem;

his greatness

ha·ḥă·zā·qāh,

his stretched out

han·nə·ṭū·yāh.

הַנְּטוּיָֽה׃

his miracles

in the midst

to its horses

and to their chariots

ū·lə·riḵ·bōw,

וּלְרִכְבּ֗וֹ

he made the water

as they pursued

bə·rā·ḏə·p̄ām

’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem;

and has destroyed

way·’ab·bə·ḏêm

וַיְאַבְּדֵ֣ם

and the LORD them

in the wilderness

bam·miḏ·bār;

בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר

ham·mā·qō·wm

wə·la·’ă·ḇî·rām,

וְלַאֲבִירָ֗ם

and swallowed them up

wat·tiḇ·lā·‘êm

וַתִּבְלָעֵ֥ם

their households

’ā·ho·lê·hem;

the possessions

in their possession

bə·raḡ·lê·hem,

בְּרַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם

in the middle

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Therefore shall you keep

ū·šə·mar·tem

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙

the commands

ham·miṣ·wāh,

mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā

to the end that

you may be strong

וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֣ם

לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃

and to the end that

you may prolong

תַּאֲרִ֤יכוּ

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

to your fathers

la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem

לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֛ם

and to them and to their offspring

ū·lə·zar·‘ām;

וּלְזַרְעָ֑ם

to possess it

לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ

[is] as the land

from from where

you came out

your offspring

and watered [it]

wə·hiš·qî·ṯā

וְהִשְׁקִ֥יתָ

with your foot

ḇə·raḡ·lə·ḵā

But the land

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ,

לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ

ū·ḇə·qā·‘ōṯ;

from the rain

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

from the beginning

And it shall come to pass

it shall come to pass if you shall Listen

תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙

lə·’a·hă·ḇāh

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙

and to serve him

ū·lə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏōw,

וּלְעָבְד֔וֹ

and with all

nap̄·šə·ḵem.

נַפְשְׁכֶֽם׃

that I will give

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

[you] the rain

of your land

in its season

the first rain

that the latter rain

ū·mal·qō·wōš;

וּמַלְק֑וֹשׁ

you may gather

wə·’ā·sap̄·tā

וְאָסַפְתָּ֣

ḏə·ḡā·ne·ḵā,

and your wine

wə·ṯî·rō·šə·ḵā

וְתִֽירֹשְׁךָ֖

and your oil

wə·yiṣ·hā·re·ḵā.

וְיִצְהָרֶֽךָ׃

And I will send

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

in your fields

for your livestock

liḇ·hem·te·ḵā;

לִבְהֶמְתֶּ֑ךָ

that you may eat

wə·’ā·ḵal·tā

וְאָכַלְתָּ֖

wə·śā·ḇā·‘ə·tā.

וְשָׂבָֽעְתָּ׃

hiš·šā·mə·rū

הִשָּֽׁמְר֣וּ

be not deceived

and you turn aside

wa·‘ă·ḇaḏ·tem

וַעֲבַדְתֶּם֙

wə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wî·ṯem

וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶ֖ם

and be kindled

of Then the LORD

and he shut up

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙

that the land

wə·hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

וְהָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה

[lest] and you perish

wa·’ă·ḇaḏ·tem

וַאֲבַדְתֶּ֣ם

Therefore shall you lay up

וְשַׂמְתֶּם֙

of mine on your heart

nap̄·šə·ḵem;

ū·qə·šar·tem

וּקְשַׁרְתֶּ֨ם

that they may be

as frontlets

lə·ṭō·w·ṭā·p̄ōṯ

on your forehead

And you shall teach

wə·lim·maḏ·tem

וְלִמַּדְתֶּ֥ם

your children

of them when you sit

bə·šiḇ·tə·ḵā

בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ֤

in your house

בְּבֵיתֶ֙ךָ֙

when you walk

ū·ḇə·leḵ·tə·ḵā

וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ֣

when you lie down

ū·ḇə·šā·ḵə·bə·ḵā

וּֽבְשָׁכְבְּךָ֖

when you rise up

ū·ḇə·qū·me·ḵā.

וּבְקוּמֶֽךָ׃

and you shall write

ū·ḵə·ṯaḇ·tām

וּכְתַבְתָּ֛ם

the doorposts

of your house

and on your gates

ū·ḇiš·‘ā·re·ḵā.

וּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃

to the end that

may be multiplied

That your days

of your sons

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

to your fathers

la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem

לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

For if you shall diligently

תִּשְׁמְר֜וּן

la·‘ă·śō·ṯāh;

לַעֲשֹׂתָ֑הּ

lə·’a·hă·ḇāh

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

and to cleave

ū·lə·ḏā·ḇə·qāh-

וּלְדָבְקָה־

will Then drive out

hag·gō·w·yim

from before you

mil·lip̄·nê·ḵem;

מִלִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם

and you shall possess

וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֣ם

and mightier

wa·‘ă·ṣu·mîm

ham·mā·qō·wm,

of your feet

the wilderness

הַמִּדְבָּ֨ר

wə·hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn

וְהַלְּבָנ֜וֹן

hā·’a·ḥă·rō·wn,

הָֽאַחֲר֔וֹן

גְּבֻלְכֶֽם׃

do be able to stand

bip̄·nê·ḵem;

בִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם

פַּחְדְּכֶ֨ם

of you and the dread

ū·mō·w·ra·’ă·ḵem

וּמֽוֹרַאֲכֶ֜ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם

you shall tread

ū·qə·lā·lāh.

hab·bə·rā·ḵāh;

תִּשְׁמְע֗וּ

to the commands

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

wə·haq·qə·lā·lāh,

וְהַקְּלָלָ֗ה

to the commands

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

but turn aside

by following

יְדַעְתֶּֽם׃

and it shall come to pass

has brought you in

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

to possess it

לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ

that you shall put

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

the blessing

hab·bə·rā·ḵāh

haq·qə·lā·lāh

on the other side

hay·yar·dên,

הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן

where the sun

of the Canaanites

hak·kə·na·‘ă·nî,

הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י

in the Arabah

bā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh;

over against

hag·gil·gāl,

הַגִּלְגָּ֔ל

shall pass over

hay·yar·dên,

הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן

in to possess

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

and you shall possess

וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֥ם

[is] and dwell

וִֽישַׁבְתֶּם־

and you shall observe

ū·šə·mar·tem

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣ם

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ,

the statutes

ham·miš·pā·ṭîm;

הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֑ים
