וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֮

you shall observe

תִּשְׁמְר֣וּן

of your fathers

לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.

shall utterly

tə·’ab·bə·ḏūn

תְּ֠אַבְּדוּן

ham·mə·qō·mō·wṯ

הַמְּקֹמ֞וֹת

hag·gō·w·yim,

shall possess

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem;

hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ,

הַגְּבָע֔וֹת

And you shall overthrow

wə·nit·taṣ·tem

וְנִתַּצְתֶּ֣ם

their altars

miz·b·ḥō·ṯām,

מִזְבּחֹתָ֗ם

wə·šib·bar·tem

וְשִׁבַּרְתֶּם֙

their pillars

maṣ·ṣê·ḇō·ṯām,

מַצֵּ֣בֹתָ֔ם

and their groves

wa·’ă·šê·rê·hem

וַאֲשֵֽׁרֵיהֶם֙

תִּשְׂרְפ֣וּן

and the graven images

of their gods

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem

אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֖ם

you shall cut down

tə·ḡad·dê·‘ūn;

תְּגַדֵּע֑וּן

wə·’ib·baḏ·tem

וְאִבַּדְתֶּ֣ם

of them out of

ham·mā·qō·wm

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem.

אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

ham·mā·qō·wm

shall choose

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙

שִׁבְטֵיכֶ֔ם

to establish

[even] to his dwelling place

shall you seek

and you shall come

And you shall bring

wa·hă·ḇê·ṯem

your burnt offerings

‘ō·lō·ṯê·ḵem

עֹלֹֽתֵיכֶם֙

and your sacrifices

wə·ziḇ·ḥê·ḵem,

וְזִבְחֵיכֶ֔ם

ma‘·śə·rō·ṯê·ḵem,

מַעְשְׂרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

heave offerings

of your hand

and your vows

wə·niḏ·rê·ḵem

וְנִדְרֵיכֶם֙

and your freewill offerings

wə·niḏ·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem,

וְנִדְבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

and the firstborn

of your herd

and of your flocks

wə·ṣō·nə·ḵem.

וְצֹאנְכֶֽם׃

And you shall eat

wa·’ă·ḵal·tem-

וַאֲכַלְתֶּם־

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

and you shall rejoice

ū·śə·maḥ·tem,

וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם

that you put

and your households

ū·ḇāt·tê·ḵem;

וּבָתֵּיכֶ֑ם

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā.

[the things] do

in his own eyes

בְּעֵינָֽיו׃

ham·mə·nū·ḥāh

הַמְּנוּחָה֙

the inheritance

han·na·ḥă·lāh,

הַֽנַּחֲלָ֔ה

[when] But you go over

wa·‘ă·ḇar·tem

וַעֲבַרְתֶּם֮

הַיַּרְדֵּן֒

וִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֣ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

gives you to inherit

[when] and he gives you rest

your enemies

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem

so that you dwell

וִֽישַׁבְתֶּם־

Then there shall be

עוֹלֹתֵיכֶ֣ם

and your sons

and your daughers

ū·ḇə·nō·ṯê·ḵem,

וּבְנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

and your menservants

wə·‘aḇ·ḏê·ḵem

וְעַבְדֵיכֶ֖ם

and your maidservants

wə·’am·hō·ṯê·ḵem;

וְאַמְהֹתֵיכֶ֑ם

that the Levite

wə·hal·lê·wî

[is] inside your gates

bə·ša·‘ă·rê·ḵem,

בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵיכֶ֔ם

as he has no

nor inheritance

wə·na·ḥă·lāh

not your burnt offerings

‘ō·lō·ṯe·ḵā;

in the place

bam·mā·qō·wm

shall choose

of your tribes

šə·ḇā·ṭe·ḵā,

you shall offer

your burnt offerings

‘ō·lō·ṯe·ḵā;

you shall do

mə·ṣaw·we·kā.

מְצַוֶּֽךָּ׃

Notwithstanding

you may kill

תִּזְבַּ֣ח ׀

wə·’ā·ḵal·tā

וְאָכַלְתָּ֣

according to the blessing

כְּבִרְכַּ֨ת

He has given

the your gates

šə·‘ā·re·ḵā;

and the clean

wə·haṭ·ṭā·hō·wr

וְהַטָּהוֹר֙

yō·ḵə·len·nū,

יֹאכְלֶ֔נּוּ

as of the gazelle

and as of the hart

wə·ḵā·’ay·yāl.

וְכָאַיָּֽל׃

you shall pour

tiš·pə·ḵen·nū

תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ

inside your gates

biš·‘ā·re·ḵā,

בִּשְׁעָרֶ֗יךָ

of your grain

or of your wine

wə·ṯî·rō·šə·ḵā

וְתִֽירֹשְׁךָ֣

or of your oil

wə·yiṣ·hā·re·ḵā,

וְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָ

or the firstborn

of your herd

or of your flock

wə·ṣō·ne·ḵā;

of your vows

nor your freewill offerings

wə·niḏ·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā

וְנִדְבֹתֶ֖יךָ

that the Levite

wə·hal·lê·wî

[is] inside your gates

biš·‘ā·re·ḵā;

בִּשְׁעָרֶ֑יךָ

and you shall rejoice

wə·śā·maḥ·tā,

וְשָׂמַחְתָּ֗

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

that you put

’aḏ·mā·ṯe·ḵā.

אַדְמָתֶֽךָ׃

shall enlarge

גְּבֽוּלְךָ֮

he has promised

and you shall say

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֙

ham·mā·qō·wm,

you then you shall kill

wə·zā·ḇaḥ·tā

וְזָבַחְתָּ֞

of your herd

mib·bə·qā·rə·ḵā

מִבְּקָרְךָ֣

and of your flock

ū·miṣ·ṣō·nə·ḵā,

וּמִצֹּֽאנְךָ֗

I have commanded

ṣiw·wî·ṯi·ḵā;

you and you shall eat

wə·’ā·ḵal·tā

וְאָֽכַלְתָּ֙

in your gates

biš·‘ā·re·ḵā,

בִּשְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ

you shall eat

tō·ḵə·len·nū;

תֹּאכְלֶ֑נּוּ

and the clean

wə·haṭ·ṭā·hō·wr,

וְהַטָּה֔וֹר

[of] them alike

yō·ḵə·len·nū.

יֹאכְלֶֽנּוּ׃

do that you eat

[is] the life

han·nā·p̄eš;

tō·ḵə·len·nū;

תֹּאכְלֶ֑נּוּ

you shall pour

tiš·pə·ḵen·nū

תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ

tō·ḵə·len·nū;

תֹּאכְלֶ֑נּוּ

to the end that

it may go well

and with your children

ū·lə·ḇā·ne·ḵā

וּלְבָנֶ֣יךָ

’a·ḥă·re·ḵā,

you shall do

[that that is] right

in the sight

your holy things

קָֽדָשֶׁ֛יךָ

you may have

and your vows

ū·nə·ḏā·re·ḵā;

וּנְדָרֶ֑יךָ

you shall take

ham·mā·qō·wm

shall choose

And you shall offer

your burnt offerings

and the blood

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā;

and the blood

of your sacrifices

zə·ḇā·ḥe·ḵā,

shall be poured out

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

and the flesh

wə·hab·bā·śār

וְהַבָּשָׂ֖ר

you shall eat

wə·šā·ma‘·tā,

וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֗

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

mə·ṣaw·we·kā;

to the end that

it may go well

and with your children

ū·lə·ḇā·ne·ḵā

וּלְבָנֶ֤יךָ

[that that is] good

wə·hay·yā·šār,

וְהַיָּשָׁ֔ר

in the sight

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā.

shall cut off

the nations you

hag·gō·w·yim,

in to dispossess

from before them

mip·pā·ne·ḵā;

and you succeed

wə·yā·raš·tā

וְיָרַשְׁתָּ֣

wə·yā·šaḇ·tā

וְיָשַׁבְתָּ֖

in their land

בְּאַרְצָֽם׃

you be not snared

by following them

’a·ḥă·rê·hem,

they are destroyed

hiš·šā·mə·ḏām

הִשָּׁמְדָ֣ם

from before you

mip·pā·ne·ḵā;

not after their gods

lê·lō·hê·hem

לֵֽאלֹהֵיהֶ֜ם

hag·gō·w·yim

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem,

אֱלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם

wə·’e·‘ĕ·śeh-

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā;

have they done

for their gods

lê·lō·hê·hem,

לֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם

their daughers

bə·nō·ṯê·hem,

בְּנֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם

they have burnt

to their gods

lê·lō·hê·hem.

לֵֽאלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ;
