hā·’a·ḥă·rō·wn,

’ă·še·rō·ši-

לְקַחְתָּ֜הּ

huṭ·ṭam·mā·’āh,

הֻטַּמָּ֔אָה

[is] abomination

cause the land

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

[for] you an inheritance

shall he be charged

and shall cheer up

he has taken

do man shall take

wə·hiṯ·‘am·mer-

וְהִתְעַמֶּר־

ū·mə·ḵā·rōw;

מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃

haṣ·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ

that you observe

wə·la·‘ă·śō·wṯ;

וְלַעֲשׂ֑וֹת

according to all

hak·kō·hă·nîm

הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים

you shall observe

תִּשְׁמְר֥וּ

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ.

bə·ṣê·ṯə·ḵem

בְּצֵאתְכֶ֥ם

out of Egypt

mim·miṣ·rā·yim.

מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃

your brother

you shall stand

shall bring out

the man [are]

with his pledge

ba·‘ă·ḇō·ṭōw.

בַּעֲבֹטֽוֹ׃

when the sun

that he may sleep

in his cloak

bə·śal·mā·ṯōw

בְּשַׂלְמָת֖וֹ

ū·ḇê·ră·ḵe·kā;

וּבֵֽרֲכֶ֑ךָּ

and it shall be

righteousness

for you before

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā.

a hired servant

[that is] poor

wə·’eḇ·yō·wn;

[whether he be] of your brothers

of your strangers

mig·gê·rə·ḵā

in your land

bə·’ar·ṣə·ḵā

בְּאַרְצְךָ֖

in your towns

biš·‘ā·re·ḵā.

בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃

you shall give

[him] his wages

shall the sun

do be put to death

[their] sons

and shall the children

be put to death

for his own sin

shall be put to death

shall you pervert

the judgment

of the stranger

[nor] of the fatherless

But you shall remember

wə·zā·ḵar·tā,

וְזָכַרְתָּ֗

bə·miṣ·ra·yim,

בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם

and redeemed

way·yip̄·də·ḵā

וַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֛

your God you

mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ,

you cut down

your harvest

in your field

and have forgot

wə·šā·ḵaḥ·tā

וְשָֽׁכַחְתָּ֧

in the field

for the stranger

for the orphan

lay·yā·ṯō·wm

and for the widow

wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh

וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה

to the end that

yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā

that the LORD

your God you

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

of your hands

your olive tree

do go over the boughs

’a·ḥă·re·ḵā;

for the stranger

for the orphan

lay·yā·ṯō·wm

and for the widow

wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh

וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה

you gather the grapes

the grapes of your vineyard

do glean [it]

’a·ḥă·re·ḵā;

for the stranger

for the orphan

lay·yā·ṯō·wm

and for the widow

wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh

וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה

and you shall remember

wə·zā·ḵar·tā,

וְזָ֣כַרְתָּ֔
