לִקְרָאתֵ֜נוּ

lam·mil·ḥā·māh

לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה

into your hand

I will deliver

and you shall do

of the Amorites

hā·’ĕ·mō·rî,

bə·ḥeš·bō·wn.

בְּחֶשְׁבּֽוֹן׃

so delivered

into our hand

bə·yā·ḏê·nū,

and we struck him

wan·nak·kê·hū

וַנַּכֵּ֕הוּ

וַנִּלְכֹּ֤ד

at that time

do there was

בַּבָּשָֽׁן׃

cities [were]

də·lā·ṯa·yim

hap·pə·rā·zî

And we utterly destroyed

wan·na·ḥă·rêm

utterly destroying

and children

wə·haṭ·ṭāp̄.

the livestock

hab·bə·hê·māh

and the spoil

of the cities

we took for a prey

at that time

from the hand

of the Amorites

hā·’ĕ·mō·rî,

on this side

hay·yar·dên;

הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן

from the valley

the Sidonians

[Which] Hermon

lə·ḥer·mō·wn

and the Amorites

wə·hā·’ĕ·mō·rî,

וְהָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י

of the plain

wə·’eḏ·re·‘î;

וְאֶדְרֶ֑עִי

of the kingdom

בַּבָּשָֽׁן׃

of the remnant

hā·rə·p̄ā·’îm

wə·ham·ma·‘ă·ḵā·ṯî;

וְהַמַּֽעֲכָתִ֑י

and to Machir

hag·gil·‘āḏ.

הַגִּלְעָֽד׃

And to the Reubenites

wə·lā·ru·’ū·ḇê·nî

וְלָרֻאוּבֵנִ֨י

and to the Gadites

wə·lag·gā·ḏî

and the border

[which is] the border

and The plain

wə·hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh

וְהָֽעֲרָבָ֖ה

wə·hay·yar·dên

וְהַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן

and the coast

from Chinnereth

mik·kin·ne·reṯ,

מִכִּנֶּ֗רֶת

of the plain

hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh

[even] the Salt

of the slopes

הַפִּסְגָּ֖ה

And I commanded

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ

you shall pass over

תַּֽעַבְר֗וּ

your brothers

the children

[that are] meet for the war

and your little ones

wə·ṭap·pə·ḵem

and your livestock

ū·miq·nê·ḵem

וּמִקְנֵכֶם֒

[for] I know

that you have much

in your cities

bə·‘ā·rê·ḵem,

בְּעָ֣רֵיכֶ֔ם

I have given

have given rest

to your companion

la·’ă·ḥê·ḵem

לַֽאֲחֵיכֶם֮

[until] possess

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

hay·yar·dên;

הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן

Then shall you return

וְשַׁבְתֶּ֗ם

to his possession

lî·ruš·šā·ṯōw,

לִֽירֻשָּׁת֔וֹ

I have given

yə·hō·wō·šū·a‘

יְהוֹשׁ֣וּעַ

at that time

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

ham·mə·lā·ḵîm

הַמְּלָכִ֣ים

the kingdoms

ham·mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ,

הַמַּמְלָכ֔וֹת

תִּֽירָא֑וּם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

and I also pleaded

wā·’eṯ·ḥan·nan

וָאֶתְחַנַּ֖ן

at that time

ha·ḥil·lō·w·ṯā

הַֽחִלּ֙וֹתָ֙

lə·har·’ō·wṯ

your servant

your greatness

gā·ḏə·lə·ḵā,

ha·ḥă·zā·qāh;

[is there] in heaven

baš·šā·ma·yim

בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם

ū·ḇā·’ā·reṣ,

according to your works

ḵə·ma·‘ă·śe·ḵā

כְמַעֲשֶׂ֖יךָ

and according to your might

wə·ḵiḡ·ḇū·rō·ṯe·ḵā.

וְכִגְבוּרֹתֶֽךָ׃

let me go over

haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh,

hay·yar·dên;

הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן

wə·hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn.

וְהַלְּבָנֽוֹן׃

But was angry

way·yiṯ·‘ab·bêr

וַיִּתְעַבֵּ֨ר

to the end that

lə·ma·‘an·ḵem,

לְמַ֣עַנְכֶ֔ם

and the LORD

Let it suffice

into the top

hap·pis·gāh,

הַפִּסְגָּ֗ה

and northward

wə·ṣā·p̄ō·nāh

and southward

wə·ṯê·mā·nāh

and eastward

ū·miz·rā·ḥāh

וּמִזְרָ֖חָה

and behold [it]

with your eyes

ḇə·‘ê·ne·ḵā;

הַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן

yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘

and encourage him

wə·ḥaz·zə·qê·hū

וְחַזְּקֵ֣הוּ

and strengthen

wə·’am·mə·ṣê·hū;

וְאַמְּצֵ֑הוּ

shall go over

shall cause them to inherit

you shall see

so we stayed

in the valley
