Again the word

[to me] saying

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

I was jealous

ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh;

for her with great

I am returned

and will dwell

wə·šā·ḵan·tî

וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י

in the midst

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim;

יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and shall be called

wə·niq·rə·’āh

וְנִקְרְאָ֤ה

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

and the mountain

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

There shall yet

and old women

ū·zə·qê·nō·wṯ,

in the streets

bir·ḥō·ḇō·wṯ

בִּרְחֹב֖וֹת

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim;

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and every man

with his staff

מִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹ

and the streets

ū·rə·ḥō·ḇō·wṯ

shall be full

yim·mā·lə·’ū,

יִמָּ֣לְא֔וּ

wî·lā·ḏō·wṯ;

mə·śa·ḥă·qîm

מְשַׂחֲקִ֖ים

in its streets

bir·ḥō·ḇō·ṯe·hā.

בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

it be marvelous

in the sight

of the remnant

should it also

be marvelous

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

from the land

הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

And I will bring

and they shall dwell

in the midst

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim;

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and they shall be

and in righteousness

ū·ḇiṣ·ḏā·qāh.

וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃

te·ḥĕ·zaq·nāh

תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה

Let your hands you

haš·šō·mə·‘îm

הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

from the mouth

of the prophets

han·nə·ḇî·’îm,

הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים

of the house

that the temple

might be build

lə·hib·bā·nō·wṯ.

לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃

do there was

and any wages

hab·bə·hê·māh

and to him who went out

wə·lay·yō·w·ṣê

וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א

[was there any] peace

the affliction

wa·’ă·šal·laḥ

וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח

against another

bə·rê·‘ê·hū.

בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃

as in the former

hā·ri·šō·nîm

הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙

to the residue

לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

the offspring

[shall be] prosperous

haš·šā·lō·wm,

shall give her

and the ground

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the heavens

wə·haš·šā·ma·yim

וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

and to possess

wə·hin·ḥal·tî,

וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י

I will cause the remnant

And it shall come to pass

[that] a curse

among the nations

bag·gō·w·yim,

and you shall be

te·ḥĕ·zaq·nāh

תֶּחֱזַ֥קְנָה

[but] let your hands

provoked you

בְּהַקְצִ֤יף

when your fathers

’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem

אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

do I repented

ni·ḥā·mə·tî.

נִחָֽמְתִּי׃

have I thought

זָמַ֙מְתִּי֙

to Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

to the house

of Judah you

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

you shall do

the truth you

his neighbor

and the judgment

וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט

in your gates

bə·ša·‘ă·rê·ḵem.

בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃

And let none

against his neighbor

do of you imagine

תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙

in your heart

bil·ḇaḇ·ḵem,

בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם

te·’ĕ·hā·ḇū;

[are things] I hate

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

of the fourth

[month] and the fast

of the fifth

הַחֲמִישִׁי֩

and the fast

of the seventh

haš·šə·ḇî·‘î

הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י

and the fast

of the tenth

hā·‘ă·śî·rî,

הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י

for the house

and gladness

ū·lə·śim·ḥāh,

וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה

ū·lə·mō·‘ă·ḏîm

וּֽלְמֹעֲדִ֖ים

and the truth

wə·hā·’ĕ·meṯ

wə·haš·šā·lō·wm

וְהַשָּׁל֖וֹם

therefore love

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

[come to pass] there shall come

and the inhabitants

And [city] shall go

the inhabitants

lə·ḥal·lō·wṯ

ū·lə·ḇaq·qêš

וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

and shall come

in Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim;

בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

ū·lə·ḥal·lō·wṯ

וּלְחַלּ֖וֹת

shall take hold

יַחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙

[it shall come to pass] ten

of the nations

hag·gō·w·yim;

and even shall take hold

wə·he·ḥĕ·zî·qū

וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ

of the skirt

who is a Jew
