(= Selections, p. 8) ἐπιμέλου δὲ καὶ σαυτοῦ, ";take care also of yourself,"; P Lond 42.32 (B.C. 168) (= I. p. 31, Selections, p. 11) χαριεῖ δὲ καὶ τοῦ σώματος ἐπιμε [λό ]μενος, ἵν᾽ ὑγιαίνηις, BGU IV. 1078.11 (A.D. 39) τὰ δ᾽ ἄλλα ἐπιμελῶ (= εῖ)σθε ἁτῶν (= ὑμῶν αὐτῶν), P Oxy VIII. 1154.4 (late i/A.D.) ἐπιμελοῦ σεαυτῆς ἵνα μοι ὑγιαίνῃς, ";take care of yourself so that I may have you well"; (Ed.). The verb is construed with the dat. in P Tebt I. 58.62 (B.C. 111) ἐπειμένου (l. ἐπιμέλου) τοῖς ἐν οἴκωι, P Oxy IV. 744.6 (B.C. 1) (= Selections, p. 32) παρακαλῶ σε ἐπιμελήθι (l.ήθητι) τῷ παιδίῳ.
